Charity auction loaded with items for Sharks fans
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is "out for blood." That's because every
five minutes someone in the United States is diagnosed with a blood cancer and
every ten minutes someone dies from one of these diseases. To fund blood cancer
research and patient services the Society is hosting a charity auction on eBay
at www.ebay.com/OutForBlood, featuring items that
are perfect for Sharks fans.
The online charity auction will be managed by Kompolt and runs from May 8-18,

Seagate Technologies has graciously donated some of the San Jose Sharks
packages.
"At Seagate, we strongly support the effort to find a cure for the devastating
diseases The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society so diligently targets," said
Seagate CEO and President Bill Watkins. "The online auction is a fun and
effective way to get involved in the effort as well as offering people in the
community the opportunity to learn more about The Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society and its efforts to fund research and help those diagnosed with these
debilitating diseases." Watkins is a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society's Board of Trustees in the organization's Silicon Valley & Monterey
Bay Area Chapter.

Presentation
Have you ever been on the ice before the puck drops at a San Jose Sharks' game?
If you place the winning bid, you'll present the Seagate Player of the Month
at a 2007 Sharks game. This package also includes four club-level seats.
Cameo on Shark Byte
The San Jose Sharks' colorful & charismatic commentator Drew Remenda hosts
a 30-minute pre-game show on TV called "Shark Byte." The winning bidder will
make a cameo appearance on the show with Drew to either introduce a segment,
participate in a skit (on or off the ice) or another TBD on-camera opportunity.
Penthouse Box at a Sharks Game
Host your next party at a Sharks game! You and 11 of your closest friends can

the age of 20.
About The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mission is to find a cure for leukemia,
lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma and to improve the quality of life of
patients and their families. In its effort to find a cure, the Society
currently funds research grants across the country and in the Bay Area at UC
Berkeley, Stanford and UCSF.
